My name is Larry Johnson and I came to the Discovery Christian Church family in October of 2004 as it's Lead Minister and Church Planter.  I am married to my beautiful wife Glenda and I have seven children. Two of our children are married and one has gone to be with the Lord. We have two Grandchildren, ages 1 and 2, and have two more due to arrive in the summer of 2008. The picture below is of my family and some special friends taken at my daughter's wedding in July 2007.

I have worked in public service for all of my adult life.  I served as an EMT and a Paramedic with several ambulance companies and Fire Departments before a career with the Maryland State Police. I retired from MSP and was able to move into full-time ministry.

I love the Eastern Shore and it's people. It is my vision that with God's help, Discovery Christian Church can continue to grow to be a vital, loving group of Christians who are committed to sharing God's Love and God's Truth with the community around us.
